Thoughts on setlist
first thought, too many songs. I thought adam offered to drop dirty chucks, and we can ixnay one of mine if need be. but do the math, 11 songs at an average of 4 minutes per (remember, this is live.....) is 45 minutes, about 10 minutes too long. i'd say cut 3 from leafs list, 2 at the very least. and i don't mind if one is mine.
oh, and for what it's worth leaf, i've been singing "gift with purCHESS" all friggin day. bastard. don't change anything. you were right.

Well, for the sake of voting... I'd say that you're right we gotta drop some tunes, but' I'd say two... cause didn't a band drop out, so we got 35 minutes??
Maybe we should decide when we jam, cause we should play the songs that work and sound good and make us look cool...
As in, I have no problem playing any of these tunes... if you guys offer tunes to drop, cool by me... if we wait til Sat. night... cool by me...

Well, if we are going to lose songs lets lose one of mine. I'd actually like to keep Dirty Chucks, because it's my simplest song and it's easy to sing. Either of my other two are ripe for rejection. IWTGB has about 7 different parts in it, so if we decide to can that song it would be best to decide now so no one has to spend any [more (?)] time learning it. Try as I might I can't play the main guitar parts on TASMP and sing at the same time (yeah, I know I suck), which means Steve will have to carry the song and I'll join in for the chorus and a few other spots.
In summary, I wouldn't cry much if either IWTGB or TASMP got cut.
Tom: On Gift With Purchase I think you should emphasize the CHESS even more, just to rile all those picky bastards. We'll all pretend that's how it's said up here and claim that anyone who didn't know is an ignorant ass.
HAHA! Yeah... it's just reviews... you gotta expect people to find SOMETHING to pick on I guess...
I am so not interested in my job, my band or my life. I asked my wife today if she wanted to move... we are considering it... I mention this because I'm looking forward to a mini vacation and road trip...
Hey Adam, apparently at the border we can get some form to fill out that "id's" our stuff for return... I got the name of it at work, and we should check into that at US customs... or whatever.
ok. two days to go... talk to you all soon.. I might do some mass phone call trip or something... ready to jam.
